Park City Utah Ski Lodging

Park City, Utah, a charming, historic town, is truly a year-round resort destination. Park City is located just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport and hosts several key venues for the 2002 Olympic Games. Snow conditions here are unrivaled — unusually light, fluffy, dry powder — truly the Greatest Snow on Earth™! Park City is home to four mountain resorts, all within five minutes from Park West 34-A:

- The Canyons - Utah's best kept secret is now the largest ski resort in Utah and the 5th largest in the U.S.
- Park City Mountain Resort - a family favorite with some of the most varied terrain in Utah.
- Deer Valley Resort - best groomed with world class distinction and pampering.
- Utah Olympic Park - bobsled, luge, ski jump, and freestyle. Site of the 2002 Winter Olympics.

In addition, four other world-class ski mountains are located within a 30 minute drive from the condo: Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.

More on The Canyons: If you haven't heard of The Canyons, you soon will. In 1997, American Skiing Company purchased Wolf Mountain (formerly Hidden Creek) and quickly commenced an ambitious $500 Million expansion plan aiming to create the largest ski resort in North America. In less than 4 years, American Skiing Company has entirely transformed the mountain and the slope-side village. The mountain has gone from 1,400 to over 3,600 skiable acres, with 8 peaks, 10 new lifts and world-class facilities. Even more impressive is the slope-side village, modeled in part after Whistler Village in British Columbia. The village already offers great restaurants, shopping, and an ice-skating rink and fire pit at the center of the square — take a look at The Canyons to see what else is in store. And that's not all — the new Cabriolet People Mover will take you to and from the village center at any time throughout the day or evening. The loading station is located just a few hundred yards from Hidden Creek 34-A!!
